This meeting is a special edition focused on preparing to go back to school with the new policy changes that affect LGBTQ+ students and educators. Here are some of the topics we hope to cover in tomorrow’s meeting:
Recent legal and policy changes impacting local schools
Current local policies in Cache and Logan school districts
Sharing resources for students, educators, parents, and advocates
Discussion about needs present in the community as LGBTQ+ folks go back to school
Identify helpful actions
Take one helpful action together
